On 3 March 2026, FS Group hosted a Ukrainian delegation, comprising representatives of the Ukrainian State Audit Service (SASU) and other government institutions, in a meeting concerning the exchange of expertise and discussion on how to manage public construction contracts, and specifically those related to the railway infrastructure sector.
The visit, led by FS International, was organised by Expertise France (EF), the French public agency responsible for international technical cooperation, which has been working with the Ukrainian government for many years in various strategic areas, including economic and financial governance.
During the meeting, considerable time was devoted to presentations by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) Procurement Department and Technical Department, with in-depth insights into procurement processes, supplier management, technical standards, infrastructure management and project pricing, along with the assessment of tender documents, to properly evaluate the works to be tendered and strengthen budgetary control.
Constructive dialogue and collaboration was persistent during the entire meeting, reaffirming FS Group’s commitment to fostering international relations and sharing its expertise to support the railway systems’ development and modernisation.
