On 30 April 2026, FS Group welcomed to Rome a delegation from Angola, comprising representatives from the Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT) and the Angolan Railways, interested in developing new commercial opportunities linked to the strategic ‘Lobito Corridor’ project, an initiative of significant importance also to the Italian Government.
The visit, coordinated by FS International and organised by the Almaviva Group as part of the SAGITTA Consortium - of which FS Group is a member - took place at the Network Control Room (OCC) at Roma Termini, where colleagues from RFI demonstrated the main railway traffic management and monitoring systems.
The delegation’s attention focused on the advanced technologies, specialist expertise and operational solutions adopted by the Group to ensure efficiency and safety, helping consolidate the FS Group’s role as a key partner in the development of infrastructure projects on a global scale.
